In patient care, Dr. Andrew Chan specializes in surgeries for a variety of conditions, including spinal deformities such as scoliosis and kyphosis, spinal tumors, and degenerative spinal disease (affecting the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine). His surgical techniques range from minimally invasive to complex.

Dr. Andrew Chan earned his medical degree at Columbia University’s Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons and completed his residency in the Department of Neurological Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). His additional training includes a fellowship in spinal deformity and minimally invasive complex spine surgery at Duke University.
